- This method has been tested on iOS 13, 2020.
- Goodnotes 5 has been released, and the previous version is no longer available at the app store.
This instruction is for customers who purchased digital stickers from Paperly Planners. If you’re willing to download files via desktop, refer to the “1. For desktop users” part. If you’re willing to download files via Dropbox link on the iPad, refer to the “2. For iPad users” part.
1. For Desktop Users
If you’re a Mac & iPad user, Airdrop is the best way to go! Unzip the .zip file, and just Airdrop sticker images to your iPad. Images will be saved to the camera roll.
If you’re on the PC, use cloud services to save the stickers – iCloud Drive, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc. Locate your cloud app and save them to the camera roll.
In Goodnotes 4, you can add stickers from camera roll like this;
Tap the “+” icon, “Image” then “Photos”
Or just tap anywhere on the notebook, then choose “Image” “Photos”
In Goodnotes 5, you can add stickers from camera roll like this;
Tap that little photo icon on the toolbar. Your recently saved images will be displayed on the right side.
Or, click the photo icon on the toolbar, and tap anywhere on the notebook.
2. For iPad Users
Click the Dropbox download link which should be included in the Instruction PDF file.
The link should take you to the Dropbox app. Tap the small dots icon on the right corner, and “Save to my Dropbox” button.
Sometimes, it may prompt you to “Continue to website” despite you already have the app. That’s fine – continue to the website, and tap “Download” button on the right top corner of the browser. Then “Save to Dropbox”
Open the Goodnotes app, and we’re gonna use the Split Screen. Swipe the bottom side of the screen, drag the Dropbox icon to the right side(of left side).
Locate to the folder you’ve saved the stickers. Drag and drop the sticker to your notebook. Resize as you want!
